Your vote really does make a difference!

If you don't believe this consider that had Democrats received just 9,545 additional votes     in 6 Congressional races in 1998, we would  control the U.S. House of Representatives.

In 1875, one vote changed France from a monarchy to a republic. In Virginia's 1999 elections, control of the legislature was decided by less than 1,000 votes. In Maryland's 1998 Congressional elections only 39% of the voting age population voted!

The voice of many Americans goes unheard in our political process because they do not vote. In order to make a difference and have a voice in our democracy you must vote. Registration is the first step, so don't waste another minute.
